Rail
Sotera’s staff have had an important role in many of the major infrastructure changes that have taken place over the last 15 years from the provision of risk services on the channel tunnel rail link, the development of a Network Wide Risk Model for Iarnród Éireann to the provision of risk and safety services to the Rail Safety Standards Board.

Ports
At the forefront of the development of port risk assessment and the implementation of formalised management systems for Port Authorities, Sotera have had many opportunities to contribute to the safety of Ports in the UK and abroad.

Tunnels
A key contribution to any large infrastructure development is the inclusion of a quantitative risk assessment. Sotera staff took a key role in the risk assessment of the channel tunnel rail link.
